On a hot summer weekend, 5 years ago, I was running errands and thought to myself, while sitting in traffic: why is it that all these people are just sitting in their cars not interacting with each other? Is it not true that the value of a network increases like 2 to the power of the number of members?
Why, then, would it ever be in one's interest to just sit in their car, tinted window rolled up, and deliberately not look at the person sitting next to them doing the same thing? I though to myself, why not just reach out to that person next to me? Why not see if I can get their email contact info?
So I've been doing this for the last 5 years now. And what a journey it has been!
Now, the only problem, is I have quite the list of random acquaintances... and who's to say which of those I can, with good faith, include in my calculation of the value of my network?
That's when I came up with it... Tmail!
Tmail is a tool that I can use to "touch base" with those myriad individuates. Tmail allows me to connect with, to touch, all those valuable and unique people with the click of a button. No real effort required on my part.
In fact now that my network is so big, I can safely keep my windows rolled up, which allows me to run my air conditioner at a lower setting. Which is saving the planet!
Thank god for tmail!
